The Story of Roy Music Center Batanagar

For generations, Roy Music Center has been a quiet cornerstone of Batanagar’s musical community. Since 1960, our family has dedicated itself to the art of violin making—designing, carving, and hand-finishing instruments that have supported thousands of musicians over the decades. Every violin crafted in our workshop carries the experience, skill, and care built up over more than 60 years.

Recognizing that many learners needed reliable guidance and a supportive place to begin their musical journey, we expanded from instrument making to music education. This led to the creation of our new Violin Teaching Department

Ronith Roy

Head Violin Instructor

Ronith Roy, a passionate and skilled instructor at Roy Music Center, Batanagar, brings both experience and strong musical training to every class he teaches. Having completed ABRSM Grade 5 in Violin, along with Grade 3 in Music Theory and Grade 3 in Alto Saxophone, he offers students a solid and well-rounded understanding of music.

Ronith is known for his patient approach, clear explanations, and ability to break down complex techniques into simple steps. His goal is to guide learners of all ages toward confident playing, strong fundamentals, and a deep appreciation for music, making him a valued mentor within the academy.
